State Champions

Congratulations to the players, Coach Greg Dempsey, and his entire coaching staff of the Central Catholic Fighting Irish football team, the 2022 Division 2 State Champions! They defeated the Akron Archbishop Hoban Knights 28 - 21 Thursday night at Canton's Hall of Fame Stadium. This is the 4^th state championship for CCHS not including the mythical AP 1962 state championship team. As alumni, we have much to be proud of!

Welcome Fellow Members of the CCHS Class of 1966!

This website was originally created to help our class plan and organize our 50^th year class reunion. It was decided to keep the site going beyond that point.  We are now renewed through September 17^th, 2027.  We can use this website to communicate with fellow classmates and friends, update our monthly luncheon announcement, and to remain current on events and happenings with the members of our class.  It can also be used to help us find our missing classmates and keep our classmate profiles updated. One of the most useful features of this site is the Message Forum section.  Here members can place messages, personal updates, photos, and other relevant information they wish to share with the class.  We encourage all of our classmates to join the website by locating their names and updating their profiles. December Lunch Announcement

We had a huge attendance of 35 people for our November luncheon at Byblos Restaurant.  It was great to see Dave Sobczak and Kathy Earl Bowes neither of whom had been able to attend for quite a while. Our next luncheon will be held at The Black Pearl, 4630 Heatherdowns Blvd. in Toledo on Wednesday, December 14^th at a special time of 12:00 noon. You can find their menu at blackpearltoledo.com​​. We look forward to seeing many of you at our special Christmas luncheon. We know a great time will be had socializing and reminiscing with our fellow classmates. Marty Mohler's Jingle Balls Band

After a hiatus due to Covid Marty Mohler is happy to announce that the Jingle Balls band will be appearing at The Distillery, 4311 Heatherdowns Blvd. on December 16^th at 8:00 pm.  They would welcome any members of the CCHS Class of ’66 to join them for a dose of good old-time rock ‘n roll. The band is composed entirely of lawyers and judges.  Elvis Costello, Modern English, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, etc. will be featured.  Spread the word and hope to see you there!

The Reunion Committee would like to announce and thank all of our fellow 1966 CCHS classmates who have so kindly stepped up and contributed to our reunion fund.  Your donations were vital in keeping our expenses in the 1966 price range.
